Christian Birth Doula in Colorado Springs
Hi, I’m Jamie, a Christian birth and postpartum doula serving Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.
I provide calm, steady, and faith-centered support throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum so you can feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way.
I am a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International, trained through the Catholic Doula Program, and an approved doula with Beginnings Birth Center. I have supported births across Colorado Springs in hospitals, birth centers, and home settings, including unmedicated and medicated births, inductions, cesareans, VBACs, twins, high-risk pregnancies, and pregnancy loss.
I also work with Tricare, Kaiser, Colorado Health First Medicaid, and CHP+.
My Mission & Approach
My mission is to provide emotional, physical, and informational support while also offering spiritual encouragement throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
I believe every life is a gift from God, and I approach each birth with compassion, grace, and deep respect for the dignity of every woman. My goal is to help you feel peaceful, supported, and confident as you prepare for and experience your baby’s birth.
My Story
I still remember being nervous when I was pregnant with my first son, and a thoughtful friend handed me a stack of Hypnobabies CDs and recommended that I find a doula. I had no idea what a doula was, but it ended up being one of the best decisions I ever made. Her support helped me through 23 hours of intense back labor, and I will be forever grateful to her! Subsequent positive birth experiences reinforced my passion for pregnancy and childbirth, inspiring me to extend my assistance to other families on their journey to parenthood.
A Little About Me
I’m originally from Wyoming and now call Colorado home, where I live with my husband of over 20 years and our four children. My husband and I are both engineers, but I chose to stay home once we started to grow our family. In this season of life, you’ll usually find me homeschooling, driving to activities, or enjoying quiet moments reading, crocheting, doing puzzles, or hiking.
My Heart for Women and Families
I have a special passion for supporting women facing unexpected pregnancies.
I am a resource partner with The Avi Project, a nonprofit that provides support and resources to college students navigating pregnancy. I also serve as an “Angel” with The Gabriel Project, offering prayer, encouragement, and practical support to women in need.
These experiences reflect my deep commitment to supporting women with compassion, dignity, and care at every stage of their journey.

My Backup Doulas
As your doula, I am committed to being available for your birth. In the rare event that I am attending another birth or unable to be present, I work with many trusted backup doulas who share a similar approach and values. You can feel confident knowing you will still receive consistent, compassionate care. Below are my two go-to backup doulas.
Brandy
I first became interested in birth when I was 12 years old and watched my younger brother being born. It was a moment that stayed with me and eventually led me to birth work years later. As a mother of six and now a grammy of four, I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful and life-changing the seasons of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum can be. Those experiences, along with my faith, have shaped the way I support families today. My goal is simply to help families feel more confident and cared for as they move through this important time in their lives.
Amanda
The births of my four children showed me the power of presence—the quiet touch, a calm word, the steady support that makes all the difference. Those moments, and my faith, guide the way I care for families today. I walk alongside families through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, offering guidance, encouragement, and calm presence. My heart is to help families feel grounded, supported, and ready to welcome new life, trusting in the strength and wisdom God has given them.
